I’ve met a lot of actors over the years whilst photographing theatre productions. Consequently, they ask me about portraits for Spotlight and CV use fairly often.
I understand the importance of portraits in an actor’s CV. As such, I take my time to provide a varied selection of natural and/or studio lit head shots. My aim is for you to be happy with the results so I don’t set a strict time limit. I then carefully edit them to your requirements.

Frequently asked questions:
How much do you charge for a portrait?
I charge a basic rate of £150 for actors head shots, this includes the shoot and editing. For specific requirements, other types of portrait or group discount please get in touch. Give me a shout if you want something more than a hurried high street portrait!
How long is a sitting?
As long as it takes for you and I to be happy with the results. I don’t like to put strict limits in place as everyone is different and some are able to relax into it faster than others.
What about the lighting, do you have a studio?
I prefer to work with natural light but can do artificially lit portraits too if that’s what you want. I don’t work from a permanent studio but, depending on the job, I can hire one at short notice or use portable lighting.
